  1. I picked Be Not Far From Me by Mindy McGinnis. It is a horror book set in a state forest. A bunch of high schoolers are meeting up at a campsite to have fun for their last summer. Yet we find out Ashley's (the narrator's) boyfriend is cheating on her when she walks up to him and his ex having sex in the woods. This puts her in a rage, causing her to start running and running until she is lost. so far the start of the book has been eventful and filled with good humor, it almost seems like an actual high schooler wrote this book with the dialect.

  2. I chose the book night. i chose this book because a lot of my classmates said it was pretty good and they couldn't put it down. My book started by Eli explaining how he survived was a miracle. and how the Nazis would kill the jews, then burn them. I am hooked at this point, even though I've only read about 10-20 pages. Its getting interesting.

    3. I have not read this book, but I heard that some of my classmates enjoyed this book. I can kind of relate it back to my last novel of "I am Malala," since it was about war and people taking over. If your peers said they liked it, it should be a good read. I'm glad you are hooked, I am hooked on my new book as well called "Verity." When you said "how Eli survived was a miracle," what did he survive? I hope the book keeps getting more interesting for you.

    2. I have also read this book. I think it is a good read, but has some scenes that can be super graphic because of the amount of trauma the child endured during his childhood. It really shows you how different some kids have it from others. But, I think it has a good meaning behind it. I also think it sheds light on how child abuse affects someone. I hope you enjoy reading it.

  6. The book that I chose was "Verity," by Colleen Hoover. I chose this book because all of my friends recommended it, and said that it is a really good read. I have already read some of Colleen Hoovers books, and I have liked them, so I thought this would be a good fit. My initial thoughts on my book is that I am going to really like it. It starts out about an author/writer who is struggling with money, and is getting evicted from her apartment. But then she gets an offer of a lifetime to finish a different authors/writers series, who is super famous, after this author got in a car accident and can no longer finish the series. I am already hooked on this book, and want to keep reading each time I put it down.

Shari the eldest daughter is telling us how violent her mother gets to be and how phycological she is. 28. I choose The Witcher: Time of Contempt by Andrzej Sapkowski. I choose this book because it is part of a series and I thought this was a good class to be able to continue that series. The book so far is slow and doesn't involve to much so far. This book also has a tendency to jump from one character to another in order to keep the reader from putting the book down. This book involves a person called a Witcher (one of the main characters) who is going through killing monsters for money.
