  1. Yes I enjoyed my book. I used to watch eight passengers on YouTube when I was younger and with everything that had happened in the past few months I wanted to know her history and what led up to those moments of Ruby getting arrested. It also was a good reminder that someone may be doing okay on the outside but you truly don't know how someone is feeling on the inside. My favorite part is when she finally overcomes everything and gets a pet to celebrate in a way. Because then she truly felt loved and gave the cat unconditional love which helped piece her heart back together. I would recommend this book to whomever watch eight passengers and whomever wants to go into CPS or anything like that. or if you just like reading nonfiction and wanna here a story of hardships and abuse.

    1. so is this book about child abuse or just mental health? You mentioned CPS towards the end, how would u say that this book relates to CPS, I'm very curious

    2. I read Verity by Colleen Hoover and I can relate my book to yours when you say that someone may seem okay on the outside when they aren't really okay on the inside. I can relate this back to one of my character Jeremy, because that sums him up very well. I also watched 8 passengers growing up and I just think that it's crazy what was really happening behind closed doors. What do you think would've happened if Ruby would had never been caught for the gruesome things that she did?

  2. yes i enjoyed the book night, i will say it was a hard read having to learn about all the terrible things that happened to the jews, i mean there is so many emotions shown throughout the book in just the span of 115 pages. I would recommend this book to anyone really, i feel that any type of person would be intrigued with it, this book wasn't really the type of book i would normally chose to read but it really did catch me off guard and it was very interesting. i did not have a favorite part because the whole book was just tragic, however i think the most interesting part of the book was when the lady kept yelling about a fire and there was no fire, so they knocked her out to get her to shut up.

    2. I read Verity by Colleen Hoover. I can kind of tie my book to yours when you say it was hard to read about all the terrible things the jews did, because before the ending of my book knowing the actual truth, it was hard reading about all the terrible things I thought Verity was doing to her kids. You say the most interesting part of the book was about the fire, why was the lady yelling even though there was no fire?

    3. I also read this book, and i would agree it was a hard read. there was a lot of emotions like them getting sent away to the camp, and also people dying right in front of them and walking over dead bodies.

    4. I agree it is so awful what happened, I feel like I also felt caught off guard but more just shocked in disbelief that this truly happened. Just couldn't believe one human could do that to another.

  4. I enjoyed reading the book night some of the things I had already know happened just from history classes in the past but there were some very gruesome things that happened that I had never heard about like where the Nazis shot baby and used them and targets. I don’t really have a favorite part, but I did enjoy the relationship between Elie and his father, no matter what happened they always found ways to stay together even in the end. I would recommend this book it’s anyone who can stomach gruesome details but it’s an important part of history that should be remembered.

  6. I read Verity by Colleen Hoover. I did enjoy my book. I enjoyed it because it was very suspenseful and every time I had to stop reading I wanted to keep reading. My favorite part of the book was the ending. This was my favorite part because it was the most shocking and I didn't see the ending happening the way it did at all. I would recommend this book to someone who likes suspense. This book has a lot of ups and downs, and the main character "Lowen," goes through many obstacles to get where she ends up in the ending of the book. Some things in the book are a lot to take in and read and the beginning is a little boring, but I think anyone who reads this book would enjoy it in the end.

  7. I read Elon Musk and I did enjoy my book. I liked it because it gave so many details about thing people really don't talk about. It talked about how Elon came up with multiple business ideas and made the businesses successful but didn't follow through with them, leading them to be a flop. My favorite part was the chapters talking about how he started his first business. I like that part because it gives many details about struggles he faced and how he overcame them. I would definitely recommend the book and especially to people who are smart and want to do something with their brains in the future.

  9. I read A Child Called "It" and I did enjoy my book because it was a nonfiction book talking about his experience of child abuse, it was hard to read at times not because of the words but because of the sadness I felt for the boy. The worst moment of the book was when David's mom rubbed a dirty diaper full of poop in his face and attempted to make him eat it. Another time was when she caught David stealing food, she made him throw it all up then eat it again after puking it up. She made his father watch him eat the puke which was a demeaning moment in the book. I would recommend this book because it was a great read but it is extremely saddening.

  13. I read the book Night, and i really liked the book. the reason i liked the book is because the book is told from someone who actually experienced the holocaust. There were many things in this book that i have learned like the jobs that they had to the horror side of things that Elie had witnessed. My favorite part of the book was the part where Elie was the caretaker for his dad, the reason is because that is one part of the book that i thought i would never see. The people that i would recommend this book to are someone who lies about history and would like to read a non fiction book that is told from a real life perspective.
